Information

You can call me Cadenza, which refers to improvised or written-out ornamental passages played by soloists, especially in concertos.

Living in Tokyo, Japan, I'm currently working for Asprova Corporation as a software enginner.

Prior to that, I was an M.S. student in cybersecurity at Tsinghua University.

In a word, I think I'm a programmer, networking researcher, song-writers, fan of classical music, soccer fan...

I was born in Changsha, Hunan Province of China, where people like eating spicy foods extremely and so do I! (but I prevent eating too much now...)


My Interests

Soccer I have been a Real Madrid supporter since 2010.

Classical Music I listened to classical music since I was young. There are many masterpieces I like very much, e.g., Mahler Symphony No. 6, Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 32, Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique...


Things I Feel Confident about

Rubik's Cube I can solve 3x3 cube in < 18 seconds.

Typing I can type ~90 English words (~500 keystrokes) or ~160 Chinese characters per minute!

Song writing & Composing I sometime wrote songs with VOCALOID or SynthV. I started to play the piano and electone since I was 5.

Research

I have worked on some research on network measurement and protocol securities, some of which are quite interesting. For example, I focused on side channels in ICMP rate limiting and IP fragmentation, and how to perform measurements by exploiting those side channels.
